Mary Jane's Obituary
Mary Jane Vullings, 89, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at her home under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. She was born August 28, 1927 to the late August and Elvira (Lussenden) Stark. Mary Jane married William Vullings, Sr. on June 5, 1948. Together they shared 57 years of marriage. Mary Jane was cofounder of Vullings Flowers and was an accomplished florist, where perfection and customer service were her highest priority. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time outside. She was especially proud to be the owner of several miniature dachshunds. Mary Jane was also as a member of the St. John's Ladies Aid, volunteering her time celebrating residents' birthdays in area nursing homes. She will be deeply missed by her children; William (Terry) Vullings, Jr. of Kronenwetter , WI, John Vullings (Becky Tate) of Hortonville, WI, Mary Claire Vullings (Don) of Mosinee, WI, Robin (Donna Wix) Vullings of Milwaukee, WI, and Jay (Jennifer) Vullings of San Francisco, CA; along with 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, 330 McClellan St, Wausau, WI 54403. The Rev. David Klutterman will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ministry Home Care Hospice.
